# GigaPrint

> GigaPrint (https://gigaprint.app) is a free, browser-based 3D printing workbench. It splits STL models that are too big for a 3D printer into bed-sized blocks with joints, makes lithophanes and relief plaques, turns drawings into cookie cutters and stamps, makes laser/CNC cut sheets, restyles models as low-poly or wireframe, and repairs broken STLs. Everything runs locally in the browser: files are never uploaded. No install and no account needed for the free tier.

## Tools
- Split STL for 3D printing: Scale any STL, OBJ or 3MF to the size you want and cut it into blocks that fit your printer bed. Joints: pegs, dowel pins, snap clips, dovetail slides, magnet pockets or flat faces for glue. Optional hollowing with vent holes, 50+ printer bed presets, and 3MF build plates.
- Lithophane maker: Turn a photo into a flat panel, a curved display or a lamp cylinder that shows the picture when light shines through. Rectangle, rounded, oval, heart and arch outlines.
- Relief plaques: Press a 3D model into a raised plaque, like a coin, medallion or carved sign, viewed from any side, with a frame.
- Drawing to 3D: Trace a drawing or logo (PNG or JPG) into a cookie cutter, stamp, keychain, badge or solid extrusion.
- Laser and CNC sheets: Slice a model into stacked layers or an interlocking waffle, laid out on sheets and saved as SVG files with kerf compensation.
- Low-poly and wireframe: Restyle a model as a faceted low-poly sculpture or a printable 3D wireframe.
- STL repair: Check an STL, OBJ or 3MF for holes, flipped faces, gaps and loose bits, fix them in one click, and reduce the triangle count of huge scans.
