How free exports work
Everything inside the free limits downloads right away, with no account: splits up to 4 pieces with pegs or flat joints, lithophanes and reliefs up to 100 mm, repairs up to 200k triangles, 1 laser sheet, and unlimited cookie cutters, stamps and tags. The starting example in each of those tools fits the free limits.
An export that goes past them (more pieces, bigger sizes, Pro-only tools such as Hollow, Mold maker, Mesh FX and Suspended print) asks you to sign in. Signing in is free and gives you 2 full-feature exports: each one is a whole project exported with every feature. Re-downloading the same project does not use another.
How to sign in
Press Sign in (top right in the app), type your email and press Email me a sign-in link. Open the email from login@gigaprint.app and click the link; the tab you started in signs in by itself. There is no password. The link works once and expires after 15 minutes, so request a new one if it has. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a minute.
How Pro unlocks
Pick a plan in the app ($7.99/month, $39/year or $79 lifetime) while signed in. Pay with the same email, and Pro unlocks automatically within a minute of payment, on every browser where you sign in with that email. If it hasn't, open the account menu and press I’ve purchased: refresh. A license key from your receipt also works: paste it under Activate key.
Cancel or manage a subscription
Signed in, open the account menu and press Manage subscription to cancel, change plan, update your card or download receipts. You can also use the link in any receipt email. Canceling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.
Refunds
Not happy? Email support@gigaprint.app within 7 days of the charge, from the address you bought with, and we'll refund it in full. A refunded purchase ends the plan it paid for. See the Terms of Service for details.
Slicer tips
- Suspended print: every string is one line wide and one layer high, lying flat on a layer, so the slicer prints it as a single bridge. In the tool, set the layer height, first layer height and line width to match your slicer profile. In the slicer, keep bridging on and turn supports off for the strings (a sphere cage still needs supports for its top). Print the exported file as one object.
- Giant print parts: each part is already turned to its best side for printing, so print it as exported. Use the same printer, nozzle and material for every part so the joints fit, and print the joint fit test first if your printer is new to you.
- Lithophanes: print standing up at 100% infill in white PLA with 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers.
- Gaps warnings: if a part is flagged "gaps", most slicers repair it on import; Repair STL fixes the file itself.
