GigaPrint Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Air Views Media LLC, a company based in Georgia, USA ("GigaPrint", "we", "us"). They cover your use of the website and web app at gigaprint.app (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of these Terms.
1. What GigaPrint is
GigaPrint is a set of 3D printing tools that run in your web browser: Giant print, Suspended print, Mold maker, Lithophane, Relief plaque, Cutters and tags, Laser layers, Mesh FX, Hollow, Separate parts and Repair STL. Your files are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to us.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age for online services where you live, if higher) to use the Service. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live to buy a paid plan or to create an account. If you use GigaPrint on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that company.
3. Accounts and sign-in
You can use the free tools without an account. To use your free full-feature exports or a paid plan, you sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to your email account secure: anyone who can open your sign-in emails can use your GigaPrint account. Tell us at support@gigaprint.app if you think your account has been misused. Don't share accounts or license keys outside what your plan allows.
4. Plans and licenses
Free. Anyone can use the free tools within the free limits shown in the app (for example, splitting into up to 4 pieces with pegs or flat joints, lithophanes and reliefs up to 100 mm, and unlimited cookie cutters and tags). If you sign in with your email, you also get 2 free full-feature exports, which use Pro features. You may use free exports and the things you print from them for personal and commercial purposes.
Pro (monthly, yearly, or lifetime, including the limited Founder lifetime offer) unlocks every tool and export for personal and hobby use, including selling the physical prints you make yourself.
Commercial (yearly or lifetime) is for businesses: print shops, print farms, studios, and anyone producing prints or files for clients or at scale. It includes a commercial license and priority support.
Plan features, limits and prices are shown in the app and may change for future purchases. "Lifetime" means for as long as GigaPrint operates the Service, for the single person (Pro) or business (Commercial) that bought it; it is not transferable.
5. Payments, renewals and refunds
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record and reseller. When you buy a plan you are buying from Lemon Squeezy, which processes your payment, charges any applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt and license key. Lemon Squeezy's own terms also apply to your purchase.
- Subscriptions (monthly and yearly) renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt or the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Price changes for subscriptions take effect at your next renewal after we give you notice.
- Refunds: if you are not happy with a purchase, email support@gigaprint.app within 7 days of the charge and we will refund it. After that, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. A refunded purchase ends the plan it paid for.
- If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend the paid features until it is resolved.
6. Your models and outputs belong to you
You keep all rights to the files you open in GigaPrint and to everything you make with it (exported files, sheets and the physical prints). We claim no ownership of your content, and because processing happens in your browser we never receive it. You are responsible for having the right to use the models, images and drawings you open, including any licenses that come with models you download from other people.
7. Acceptable use
Don't:
- use the Service to break the law or infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
- make or help make weapons, weapon parts, or anything designed to cause harm, or anything that is illegal to make or own where you live;
- try to get around free limits, the paywall, license checks or rate limits, or share sign-in links, accounts or license keys beyond what your plan allows;
- attack, overload, scrape or probe the Service or its API, or try to access accounts or data that aren't yours (including guessing the owner unlock password);
- automate requests to the Service, for example sign-in links or waitlist sign-ups, beyond normal personal use;
- copy, resell or rehost the GigaPrint app itself, or pass it off as your own.
We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.
8. Our software
GigaPrint and its code, design, models, images and branding belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms and your plan. Open-source components are used under their own licenses, listed at /THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt.
9. Check before you print
GigaPrint helps you prepare files, but it can't know your printer, material, settings or how the print will be used. Estimates of filament, cost and print time are approximate. Always check models, joints, fit, strength and slicer settings yourself before printing, and take the usual safety care with printers, resins, cutters, molds and hot tools. Don't rely on printed parts for anything safety-critical, load-bearing or food-contact unless you have checked them yourself for that purpose.
10. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that outputs will print successfully.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, materials, machine time or failed prints; and
- our total liability for any claim relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50.
Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
If you use the Service in a way that breaks these Terms or the law, or infringes someone else's rights, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, damages and legal fees we incur as a result.
13. Changes and ending the Service
We are improving GigaPrint all the time and may add, change or remove features. If we change these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date; for significant changes we will post a notice in the app or email signed-in users before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
You can stop using GigaPrint at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms. If GigaPrint shuts down for any reason, including if the gigaprint.app domain or hosting ends, all plans end, including Lifetime and Founder plans. We will try to give at least 30 days' notice and will refund the unused part of any prepaid monthly or yearly subscription. Lifetime purchases are not refunded after the 7-day refund window.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Richmond County, Georgia, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please email support@gigaprint.app so we can try to resolve it informally. If you are a consumer living outside the US, you also keep any protections the law of your country gives you.
15. General
These Terms (with the Privacy Policy and any plan terms shown at purchase) are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of the business.
