GigaPrint Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information GigaPrint collects, why, and what choices you have. GigaPrint is the website and web app at gigaprint.app (the "Service"), operated by Air Views Media LLC, a company based in Georgia, USA ("GigaPrint", "we", "us"). If you have questions, email support@gigaprint.app.
1. The short version
- Your files never leave your device. Models, photos and drawings you open in GigaPrint are processed inside your web browser. We do not upload, store or see them.
- We store very little. If you sign in or join the waitlist, we keep your email address and the few records needed to run your account (your plan, license status and how many free full-feature exports you have used).
- We do not sell your data, show ads, or use advertising trackers.
- You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing support@gigaprint.app.
2. Processing happens in your browser
All of GigaPrint's tools (Giant print, Suspended print, Mold maker, Lithophane, Relief plaque, Cutters and tags, Laser layers, Mesh FX, Hollow, Separate parts and Repair STL) run on your own computer or phone, inside the browser. When you open an STL, OBJ, 3MF, PNG or JPG file, it is read and processed locally, and the files you download are created locally. The contents of your models and images are never sent to our servers or to anyone else.
3. Information we collect
We only collect information when you use a feature that needs it.
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | You ask for a sign-in link | To send you the link and identify your account. |
| Sign-in link records | You ask for a sign-in link | A one-way hash of the link, the time it was created and when it expires or was used, so links work once and expire. We also use these records to limit how many links can be requested per hour. |
| Account and plan status | You sign in | Your account ID, your plan (Free, Pro or Commercial), its term and status, and the dates your account was created and updated. |
| Free export count | You make a full-feature export while signed in | A count of the free full-feature exports you have used. For each one we keep a random project ID, the kind of export (for example "lithophane") and which Pro features it used, so the same project is only counted once. We do not store the file or its contents. |
| Purchase and license records | You buy Pro or Commercial (once purchases open) | The email used at checkout, plan, term, status (active, canceled, expired or refunded), order and product IDs from Lemon Squeezy, and for license keys a one-way hash and the last 4 characters of the key. We never receive or store your card or bank details. |
| Waitlist email | You join the Pro waitlist | Your email, which tool or export brought you there, which Pro features that export used, the time you joined, and a one-way hash of your IP address used only to stop abuse. |
| Owner unlock attempt logs | Someone tries the site owner's unlock form | A one-way hash of the IP address and the time of the attempt, used only to rate-limit and block password guessing. |
| Technical logs and analytics | You visit the site | Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to deliver and protect the Service. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which gives us aggregate visit counts and page performance without cookies and without tracking you across sites. |
We do not ask for your name, postal address, phone number or payment details, and we do not collect sensitive personal information.
4. How we use information
We use the information above only to:
- sign you in and keep you signed in;
- count free full-feature exports and unlock the plan you have paid for;
- send the emails you asked for (sign-in links, receipts and license emails from our payment provider, and one message to waitlist members when Pro launches);
- answer support requests;
- keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems;
- understand overall usage (for example, which pages are visited) so we can improve GigaPrint;
- meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build profiles about you.
5. Service providers we use
We share information only with the companies that help us run the Service, and only what they need:
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website and our server (Cloudflare Workers), stores account data in its database (Cloudflare D1), protects the site from attacks and provides cookie-less analytics. Cloudflare privacy policy
- Resend sends sign-in emails from login@gigaprint.app. Resend receives your email address and the message we send. Resend privacy policy
- Lemon Squeezy (once purchases open) is our merchant of record. When you buy Pro or Commercial, you pay Lemon Squeezy directly: it processes your payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and sends your receipt and any license key. Lemon Squeezy shares your email, order and license status with us, but not your card details. Its own privacy policy covers the information you give it at checkout. (See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy on its website.)
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information).
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Cookies and local storage
GigaPrint does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We use your browser's local storage (data kept on your device, not sent to us) to remember:
- your sign-in session and plan, so you stay signed in;
- your preferences, such as the printer you picked, estimate settings (material, price per roll), view options and the size-reference choice.
You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data for gigaprint.app. Doing so signs you out and resets your preferences; it does not delete your account.
Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from bots and attacks.
7. How long we keep information
- Sign-in link records: expired links are deleted within about a day.
- Account, plan and export-count records: for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete them, except purchase records we must keep for tax and accounting (usually up to 7 years).
- Waitlist emails: until Pro launches and we have sent the launch message, or until you ask to be removed, whichever is sooner. We delete waitlist entries within 90 days after the launch email.
- Owner unlock attempt logs: kept only as long as needed to prevent password guessing, and no longer than 90 days.
- Hosting logs and analytics: kept by Cloudflare according to its policies; analytics are aggregate.
8. Your choices and rights
You can:
- Access or get a copy of the information we hold about you;
- Correct it;
- Delete your account, your waitlist entry or both;
- Object to or restrict certain uses;
- Unsubscribe from the waitlist at any time.
To do any of these, email support@gigaprint.app from the address you used with GigaPrint. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm the request came from you. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK or California), you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. Our legal bases for processing are: performing our agreement with you (accounts, plans and exports), our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention and improving the Service), your consent (the waitlist), and legal obligations (tax records).
9. Security
We protect information with encryption in transit (HTTPS everywhere), one-way hashing of sign-in links, license keys and IP addresses, short-lived signed session tokens, and access limited to the people who run GigaPrint. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of data we hold as small as possible, so there is little to expose.
10. Children
GigaPrint is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU and UK). Anyone can use the tools without signing in. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@gigaprint.app and we will delete it.
11. International users
GigaPrint is operated from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information (for example your email address) will be processed in the United States and wherever our service providers operate.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we will post a notice on the site or email signed-in users before the change takes effect.
